DIRECTOR BIO

 

SUSAN LYLES (DIRECTOR)

Susan Lyles has a BA from Wichita State University, and received certification from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Shakespeare.  She has worked on stage in London, Chicago and Denver and has also worked in film, commercials, print, industrial's, and voice over. Susan is the founder and Producing Artistic Director of And Toto too Theatre Company, and has directed more than 20 plays, including the award winning Naked in Encino, Car Talk, and Heads. She has designed costumes for more than 50 plays, including Lion in Winter (Denver Victorian Playhouse), 12th Night (Denver Victorian Playhouse), and Greater Tuna and Christmas Tuna (Denver Victorian Playhouse, Town Hall Arts Center). Susan was recently won a 2015 True West Award. Susan is branching out into film with her newly formed film production company Ruff, Ruff Dog Productions.

James o'hagan-murphy (Prometheus)

James has worked with many Colorado theatre companies including Vintage Theatre, Avenue Theatre, Boulder Ensemble Theatre, Miners Alley Playhouse, Edge Theatre, Littleton Town Hall Arts Center, Breckenridge Backstage Theatre, Cherry Creek Theatre, and the Denver Center Theatre Company.  Some of his more memorable roles include Felix Unger (The Odd Couple, Miners Alley Playhouse), Williamson (Glengarry Glen Ross, Edge Theatre), Richard Hannay (The 39 Steps, Littleton Town Hall Arts Center), Nick (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe, Edge Theatre), Mark Lee Fuller (Southern Baptist Sissies, Theatre Out), Estragon (Waiting for Godot, Ripple Effect), Raskolnikov (Crime & Punishment, Boulder Ensemble), George Bailey (It's a Wonderful Life, Miners Alley Playhouse), Joe Pitt (Angels In America I & II, Vintage Theatre), and Robert F. Kennedy (RFK: A Portrait of Robert Kennedy, Vintage Theatre, Westword Magazine's Best Actor in a Drama).  He is currently playing Jacob Marley in Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol with Vintage Theatre.

 

LAUREN CORA MARSH (TINA)

Lauren Cora Marsh's regional credits include: Spring Awakening, Hair (2013 Henry Award Best Ensemble), Tommy (Town Hall Arts Center), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Aurora Fox), Little Shop of Horrors (Equinox), The Playground (And Toto too) and Cabaret (Phamaly). Currently, she can be seen as Fanny Brice in Vintage Theatre's production of Funny Girl. www.vintagetheatre.com

 

JEFF JESMER (HERCULES, SWAN, MAN)

Jeff Jesmer is a local actor who has been making his fortune in theatre around Denver. He can be currently seen in Vintage Theatre's Funny Girl and upcoming at the John Hand Theatre for Firehouse Theatre Company's Champagne Charlie Stakes. RON MEDIATORE (STAGE DIRECTIONS)

Ron Mediatore has been seen locally in Whacking the Turkey, Accomplice, Mortal Fools, Swimming In Seuss and Once Upon A Midnight Dreary.  He’s also worked with Mile Hilarity, Comedy Jocks and Impulse Theater.  A math teacher by day and aspiring playwright every other time, Ron would like to thank Susan for this amazing opportunity.
