“Queer “ Reading Series-now accepting submissions

And Toto too Seeking Submissions for our upcoming “Q” (Queer) reading series And Toto too is accepting submissions from Colorado playwrights of unpublished and unproduced plays for our new reading series that begins in April 2022. If your play is ready for the next step in development by getting it in front of an audience and you are a member of the LGBTQ+, queer community, and/or identify as trans or non binary we encourage you to submit. All ethnicities and races are encouraged to submit.

Compensation 75.00, this is for 2-2 hour rehearsals, and the reading, feedback provided via comment cards, we do not do talkbacks after the reading. Covid allowing, these will be in person readings. Rehearsals will be via zoom. Proof of covid vaccine required.

Requirements: One Acts (45-60 minutes in length) or Short Plays (10 minutes) Play may not have been fully produced , 7 or less characters (do not double up your characters to make it fit) Submission requirements Electronic only (if you send a hard copy it will be returned to sender unopened) First 10 pages, if it is a short then entire script Development History if any Synopsis If these guidelines are not followed your script will not be read. We will contact you only if we are interested in seeing a full script. We do not give feedback on why your play was not accepted. Thank you for submitting. We look forward to reading your work.
