Bettina Mueller Teuscher (Director)

A California native, Bettina graduated from Chapman University in Southern California in 2015 with a degree in Theatre Studies. Before settling in Denver in early 2017 to purse a career in theatre, she spent time traveling and doing work exchange around California, Iceland, England, and Ireland. A passionate director and dramaturg, Bettina has a special interest in new play development, and theatre that helps us question ourselves and understand others. Most recently, she assistant directed DCPA's The Who's Tommy, and dramaturged Curious Theatre's The Body of an American. Bettina also spends her days working as the Operations Manager for Atlas Geotechnical, a geotechnical engineering company where she runs the internal aspects of the business.

Libby Arnold has acted and directed in New York, Los Angeles, Florida, New Mexico and most recently Colorado. Previous And Toto too Theatre Co credits: Directing: Who Will Sing for Lena, Swan Day, and Assistant Director of The Greater Good; Acting: Naked In Encino (Cat) and the Play Crawl. Other acting credits: Colorado: Sylvia in Sylvia (Platte Valley); Agnus in Dancing at Lughnasa (DCPA Ed.); Heidi in The Heidi Chronicles (DCPA Ed.). NY Off-Broadway: The Libertine (Theatre Row); Swimming With Watermelons (Vineyard Theatre); Six by Tenn (Red Room); Regional Credits: Pursuit of Happiness, Suddenly Last Summer, Night of the Living Dead, The Dead Guy, (Hippodrome, FL); The Man of Mode, Cornbread Man (World Premiere), Vincent in Brixton (Nadine McGuire Theatre, FL); Three Times a Lady (Santa Monica Playhouse, CA). sam gilstrap (Director)

Sam Gilstrap is honored to be a part of The And Toto too Play Crawl again.  He’s been acting and directing in Colorado for over a decade and has recently been seen at the Arvada Center, The Aurora Fox, and many other stages.  You can also find him in the hit Netflix series Longmire... if you don’t blink.  Thank you, mom! And thank you for supporting And Toto too and live theater!

Tara has been an active member of the dance community working with Whitney Waugh Dance Company, Dance is Love, and Nile H. Russell on various productions. She has also been involved in the following productions: As You Like It (Celia and Dance Choreography) and Romeo and Juliet (Sampson, Apothecary, and Dance Choreography) with Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre, Taming of the Shrew (Tranio) with Lost and Found Productions and Dog Sees God (CB's sister) with Equinox Theatre Company. Tara is currently working with The Catamounts and Control Group on the immersive theatre show Rausch. She earned her BA in Acting/Directing with a  Dance Minor at Colorado Mesa University.

Wade P. Wood (Director)

Wade has been performing along the front range for more years then he cares to remember. Some of his favorite roles include Garfinkle in Other Peoples Money, Lt. Col Jessup in A Few Good Men, and Henry II in The Lion in Winter.  Wade has been working with And Toto too theatre company for over ten years as an actor and director.  As always Wade sends his love to his wife Lorraine and the continual support she gives him.

Maru Garcia (Director)

Maru has been acting and directing for over 30 years now.  She has a Bachelor’s in Art from UNAM in Mexico City, specializing in directing.  She has been the Executive Producer of Grupo Bochinche in Mexico City and the Artistic Director and Producer for The 73rd. Avenue Theatre Company.  She has participated in more than 50 plays as actor and/or director.  She is currently an Educator Performer at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science while working on completing her dissertation to finish her Doctorate.

kate folkins (Director)

Kate Folkins is thrilled to be directing A Boys Guide to Brutal Honesty for the And Toto too Play Crawl - she's been a fan of this inspiring night of local theatre for years!  It's great to work with Susan again after they took a reading of Jeff Neuman's Exit Strategies to New York for a producer showcase last fall.  A local director, some of Folkins's credits include The Whipping Man (Curious Theatre Company), The Few  and Silent Sky (Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company),  Exit Strategies  (Edge Theatre Company) Red (Breckenridge Backstage Theatre), Savage in Limbo(University of Denver), Juicy & Delicious (Denver School of the Arts) and 5210 Main Street, which she also wrote with the Kaiser Permanente Educational Touring Company. Folkins received her B.A. in Theatre from Washington University in St. Louis summa cum laude. She is a company member at Benchmark Theatre Company,  an Associate Artist at Local Theatre Company, and a Manager of Youth Career Development Services with Goodwill Industries of Denver.

BILLIE MCBRIDE (DIRECTOR)

Billie McBride spent 20 years in NYC prior to moving to Colorado doing theatre and Television.  Since moving to Denver she has both acted and directed in many of the theaters in Colorado.  She spent the past 10 years as the resident director for the DENVER CHILDREN’S THEATRE and has also directed both Children’s productions and main stage productions for THE ARVADA CENTER FOR THE ARTS AND HUMANITIES. She just completed directing A Skull In Connemara for Miners Alley Playhouse, Side Show for the CSC, Lost in Yonkers for Midtown Arts in Fort Collins and a workshop of a new play for Elitch Gardens Theatre in Denver. Billie recently won a Henry Award for directing THE VINTAGE THEATRE’S production of Night Mother and this year received The True West Award for Theatre Person of the Year.

Kate Poling is an actor, director, and teaching artist in the Denver Area. Her directing credits star primarily actors under 18 years old, and include kid's shows and projects with The MACC, The Arvada Center, and The Denver Center.
